Cooking instructions

Cook from chilled:

Shallow Fry: Remove all packaging, and preheat 15ml of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Evenly spread out the sausages intothe pan and cook for 8 minutes. Turn three times during cooking (approximately every 2 minutes).

Oven Cook: Preheat oven to Gas mark 6 (200°C) Electric 200°C and Fan assisted 180°C.Remove all packaging and evenly spread out the sausages (x4) onto a baking tray and place into the centre of the oven for 16 minutes.

One of us loved them the other hated them

We're still on the fence on this one. I hated them - much too strong and had to smother them with mash to make them palatable - my other half loved them and said they tasted like "real" sausages. The again I've never had a meat Cumberland before - perhaps this is how they're supposed to taste.

Hoping the meatballs are less strong.
