What's inside the box

Roughly 1kg of fresh speciality mushrooms across five-plus varieties — pink, yellow and grey oysters, wild chestnut and Lion's Mane among them. The exact mix follows the week's harvest.

What if I can't cook unusual mushrooms?

If you can use a frying pan you are ready: thick slices, hot pan, butter and garlic. Our recipes blog has simple starters, and the Meet the Mushrooms guide above covers the best way to cook each variety.

When will it arrive?

Your box is picked and packed at the farm, then travels on a 24-hour tracked service — so it's delivered the day after it leaves us. We dispatch Monday to Thursday only, so your box never sits in a depot over a weekend. Order by Wednesday for weekend cooking. The cooler gel pack protects the mushrooms in transit — it's completely normal for it to arrive cool or even at room temperature. We deliver within the UK. Need it for a specific date? Email us before placing your order and we can tag it for priority dispatch.

How long will they keep?

Store them in the fridge in an open-top container and they'll keep for about 7 days. Use the delicate oysters early; the firmer varieties keep longest. Small blemishes or rub marks from transit are cosmetic — trim and cook as normal.

Fresh Fungi

My order arrived very fast, and the mushrooms selection was good and they were very colourful and fresh. They were by far the freshest mushrooms I've eaten that I've bought, the only time I've eaten fresher mushrooms are those that I've picked out in our fields.

I will be making these a regular order from now on, and after I've written this review I'm placing my 2nd order.

Marvellous mushrooms
