How many meals do I get out of 1kg of mushrooms?

On average, we say between 8-15 servings. It really depends on how you use them in your cooking. Some people really love their mushrooms and consume them within 3/4 meals. Others, use them for an entire week.

What is the best way to cook the mushrooms?

There are many ways to cook mushrooms. A quick Google/YouTube search will provide a wealth of options and ideas to try! Typically, the Oysters and Shiitake can be cooked very similarly to the traditional Whites and Chestnuts.Many people simply fry them in a pan with some butter and garlic for an easy experience.If you come up with some great dishes, let us know in the reviews section 😀

How best to store them?

We recommend removing all the packaging the mushrooms arrived in and storing them in the fridge in an open-top container. This will help them breathe and stop any sweating (condensation).

What is the shelf life of the mushrooms?

We typically see the mushrooms being used for 7 days. Many people make mushroom soup if they don't manage to consume them all, which is a great idea. 🥣

How does the subscription work?

The subscription is an easy, cost-effective, and convenient way to continue receiving our mushrooms on a regular basis. Simply sign up and select how often you wish to receive them. You can cancel, pause, and even add products. Easily log into your account via our site to view and alter your subscription.

Can I customise my order?

Certainly! Send us an email of your requirements, wait for us to respond and then place your order. Don't like Shiitake? Want more of one type? We can certainly make it happen!

Why don't you ship on a Friday?

We don't ship on a Friday because we cannot guarantee delivery for Saturday. To give our customers the best experience and freshest mushrooms, we used a tracked shipment postal service to ensure your mushrooms get to you within the promised 24hour window.

Fresh Fungi

My order arrived very fast, and the mushrooms selection was good and they were very colourful and fresh. They were by far the freshest mushrooms I've eaten that I've bought, the only time I've eaten fresher mushrooms are those that I've picked out in our fields.

I will be making these a regular order from now on, and after I've written this review I'm placing my 2nd order.

I love thèse mushrooms. They’re so beautiful and fresh. It’s such a treat to open the box each month. I wrote some haiku about them.

Best mushroom mix ever

I got my first box last week. How have I missed this gem? Can I eat my way through a kilogram of delicious fungi in a week - no problem whatsoever 😀. There is nothing not to like.
